Townsville Web Designer
Web Design for Established and Growing Townsville Businesses
I design custom websites for Townsville businesses that want a strong, credible online presence — not something that blends into the background.
In a market like Townsville, your website needs to communicate trust, clarity, and professionalism from the first visit. It should work just as hard for established local businesses as it does for those looking to grow beyond North Queensland.
Standing Out in the Townsville Market
Townsville’s not a massive market — especially compared to places like Brisbane or the Sunny Coast. When someone searches for what you do, they’re seeing you and maybe three competitors. If your website looks like theirs – same layout, same stock photos, same “we’re committed to excellence” waffle – you’ve just made their decision harder, not easier.
I build websites that actually differentiate you. Not by being weird for the sake of it, but by properly reflecting what makes your business worth choosing. Your food philosophy. Your approach to client work. The reason you started this thing in the first place.
The Kind of Businesses I Work With
I build websites for Townsville businesses that actually care about how they’re perceived. Places where quality matters more than cutting corners. Hospitality venues that put thought into their offering. Professional services that want to be seen as experts in their field. Local businesses that understand their website is an investment, not an expense to minimise.
If you’re hunting for the absolute cheapest option or you think a GoDaddy template is sufficient, we’re probably not the right fit. But if you want a website that makes people remember your business and brings actual customers through your door, we should talk.
What it costs
Every job is different, so I’ll quote yours specifically after we discuss what you need. I’ll then send you a detailed proposal with everything included. I quote what you actually need, not what makes me the most money.
What you're getting
- Custom WordPress design - built for your business
- Human-sounding copywriting - no corporate jargon
- SEO handled properly - fast loading, mobile-friendly
- Direct access to the designer - me, not a project manager
- Full training: I show you how to update basic content yourself
- 30 days support after launch
How it works
We start with a conversation about what your website actually needs to do for your business. Then I design it in Figma, build it in WordPress, and keep you in the loop without drowning you in progress reports. Most projects wrap up in 4-6 weeks.
After launch, I don’t vanish. You’ve got direct access if something breaks, you want to change something, or you just need advice on what to do next.

Questions You Might Have
Do I need to be in Townsville for us to work together?
Nope. I work remotely with clients all over Australia. We’ll chat over Zoom or phone, share designs via email, and handle everything digitally. You get the same direct access to me whether you’re in Townsville or Timbuktu.
How much input do I need to have in the design process?
As much or as little as you want. Some clients want to be involved in every decision, others just want to see a couple of drafts and approve the final. I adapt to however you prefer to work – just let me know upfront.
Can I update the website myself after it's built?
Yeah, that’s the whole point of using WordPress. I’ll show you how to update text, images, and basic content. For more complex changes or if you just can’t be bothered, I’m available for ongoing support and updates.
What if I don't have any content or photos yet?
Not a problem. I write the copy as part of the project, and I can either work with what you’ve got photo-wise or guide you on what to shoot. If your industry suits it, I can also create custom graphics or source appropriate imagery.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. All projects are structured with milestone payments rather than a single upfront fee. For most projects, I work on a 50/50 basis: 50% deposit to kick off, and 50% on completion before the site goes live.
For larger projects, I can break this into additional milestones (for example, 30/30/20/20) to spread payments across design approval, development completion, and launch.
If you have specific requirements, let’s chat. I’m happy to discuss an arrangement that works for both of us.
Ready to Do Something Different?
Send me a message about your business and what you need from a website. I’ll have a look at your current site if you’ve got one, and we’ll have a straightforward chat about whether we’re a good match. If I reckon I can help, we’ll talk next steps. If not, I’ll tell you that too.
